| It's easier than you think! To qualify for services a student must be an American citizen or permanent resident of the United States, admitted/registered at Dixie State College, must demonstrate an academic need for services as defined by the institution, and meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. FIRST GENERATION-- Neither of your parents received a four-year college degree before you were 18-years old.
2. LOW INCOME STUDENT-- You are receiving financial aid such as a PELL grant or your taxable income meets federal guidelines.
3. DISABILITY-- You have a documented disability through our Disability Resource Center.
You can pick up an application for membership in the North Instructional Building (NIB). The SSS staff reviews applications and interviews perspective participants.
