This is the high school equivalency exam used by post-secondary educational institutions and employers in lieu of a high school diploma.
MAJOR CHANGE: All new GED® Examinees, after July 2, 2012, will be required to take the Computer Based GED® Test. The price will increase to $120.00. Test questions, individual test times, and scoring will be the same as the present paper based test.
You can register for the Computer Based Test by visiting www.GEDcomputer.com and click on Register Today. You can also register by calling the PearsonVue call center at 1-877-EXAM-GED (392-6433).
All 16 - 18 non-graduate cadidates must take the "K-12 Education Withdrawal and GED Testing Registration Application Form" to a Utah Adult Education Program whereby the adult education program will validate the form for completeness and "activate" the candidate's GED testing registration to allow them to proceed to a GED testing center to take the GED Test through the computer-based testing process.
