| In 2008, the Dixie State College Automotive Technology Department received the highest recognition that the National Institute for Automotive Service Exellence can give. The Department was granted ASE Master Certification in ALL eight of the Automotive Service areas.
Dixie State College was the Second institution in higher education in the state of Utah to achieve ASE Certification in ALL eight areas. This is very prestigious and brings quality automotive training to the entire automotive industry in Southern Utah.
A "Master Technician" is highly sought after by the auto technology repair centers!
