Regular Semester Dates

Jan 7    Classwork begins
Jan 9    Last day to add classes without instructor permit
Jan 18 Pell Grant Census data
Jan 21 Martin Luther King Holiday
Jan 28 Last day for refund of tuition and fees
           NO REFUND AFTER 5:00 ON THIS DATE AND DROPPED
               CLASSES WILL RECEIVE A "W" GRADE ON TRANSCRIPTS
Feb 1   $50 late registration/payment fee
            DSC reserves the right to drop classes for
            non-payment of the balance due after this date.
Feb 1    Last day to ADD classes
Feb 18 President's Day Holiday
Feb 19 Block Courses begin
Mar 3    Lat day to DROP or AUDIT courses
Mar 10 Semester Break (Mar 10 - 14)
Mar 28 Last day for COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL
Apr 24 Classwork Ends
Apr 25 Final Exams (Apr 25 - May 1)
May 2   Commencement Exercises

Spring registration will take place as follows:

Nov 12 - Seniors (90 completed credits)
Nov 13 - Juniors (60 credits)
Nov 14 - Sophomores (30 credits)
Nov 15 - Open registration

Spring Block Classes

Feb 19   Block Classes begin
Feb 20   Last day to ADD without instructor permit
Feb 25   Pell Grant Census Date for Block Students
Feb 28   Last day for refund of tuition & fees
            NO REFUND AFTER 5:00 ON THIS DATE AND DROPPED
            CLASSES WILL RECEIVE A "W" GRADE ON TRANSCRIPTS
Feb 28   $50 late registration/payment fee.
Mar 3     Last day to ADD block classes
