Don Reid
Director of Security and Campus Police
Has 35 years vested in Public Safety, having started his career as a reserve officer for SGPD while attended Dixie College in 1973 and 1974. Don is a graduate of the Utah State Police Academy. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Police Science and a Master Degree in Criminal Justice. Don developed and coordinated the EMT training program at Dixie College for 24 years. Don currently teaches criminal justice classes at Dixie and is a certified field investigator for the Utah Medical Examiners Office.
Don is married to his high school sweetheart of 35 years, Glenda Jean Iverson, and they have two adult children, Sasha Nielson, who was among the first graduating nursing class of DSC and is currently a Charge Nurse at DRMC, and Logan Beau Reid, an adjunct professor of sociology at DSU and research manager for Southwest Behavioral Health Substance Abuse. Don enjoys guitars, sculpting, motorcycles, and mountain climbing.

Ron Isaacson
Assistant Director of Security and Campus Police
Has 19 years vested in Public Safety, having hired on initially with Provo City PD, then transferring to St. George PD where he worked for 15 years, having been a member of the S.W.A.T. team and having been a Detective the last 7.5 years. Ron is a certified EMT and a Voice Analysis Technician. As an investigator Ron worked with the FBI an ICAC (internet crimes against children) Task Force Member. Ron is working on his Integrated Studies Bachelors at Dixie State University with his emphasis being Criminal Justice and Communication. He is planning on graduating in the fall of 2012.
Ron has been married for 24 yrs. and has three children. He enjoys motorcycles, off-road racing, water sports, and camping.

Jon Alexander
Patrol Officer
Has 7 years vested in Public Safety. Jon also Reserves with Utah State Parks during the summer as a Deputy Park Ranger. Jon is a certified EMT. Jon has an Associate of Science from Dixie State College & is working on his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.
Jon has lived in St. George for 17 years and is from Southeast Utah. Jon is married and has two kids. Jon enjoys boating, the beach, traveling and spending time with his family.
Kraig Stowe
Patrol Officer
Has 7 years vested in Public Safety. Kraig is a P.O.S.T. Certified Firearms Instructor in both handgun and patrol riffle and is the department firearms instructor. Kraig received an Integrated Studies Bachelors Degree from Dixie State College with his emphasis as Criminal Justice and Human Communication in the spring of 2011.
Kraig has lived in St. George for 30 years. On his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking and sports.
Eldon Gibb
Patrol Officer
Eldon Graduated from the police academy in May of 2010. He has been with Dixie University Public Safety for 2 years. Eldon is working on his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and is expecting to graduate in the summer of 2013.
Eldon is from Pleasant Grove and moved to St. George to start working at Dixie College. He spends his spare time Camping and riding 4-wheelers.
