Dixie State College (DSC) Outdoor Recreation & Adventure Center (ORAC) is starting a new program where students volunteer to coordinate outdoor excursions.  Volunteer trip coordinators are students who are interested in the outdoors and are willing to spend time and energy in helping others experience various activities in a variety of outdoor settings. Volunteer coordinators need to be First Aid and CPR trained and can respond to emergency situations properly. Trip coordinators need to have a good working knowledge of one or more outdoor activities and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from sharing their experience with others. Volunteering gives one the opportunity to give back, develop friendships, and participate in life changing events. If you are interested in volunteering to be a trip coordinator come by the ORAC and we can get things started.

*Don’t worry about equipment for activities because all trips will be outfitted or other arrangements will be worked out prior to any excursion.
