Welcome to Dixie State College's Advisement & Registration program!

As faculty and staff members at Dixie State College (DSC), we are thrilled to have you on campus and pleased with your decision to make DSC your higher education institution. 2011 marks a historic year as DSC celebrates its 100th birthday. We hope to provide you with great events and activities along with the proper information and resources necessary to begin your college career.

As a new student at DSC, you will have many new experiences. The Advisement & Registration (A&R) program has been created to help you prepare and better understand your academic career. A&R is mandatory for all new students. In fact, a hold has been placed on your account restricting your ability to register for classes until it’s completed.

If you have taken college classes (concurrent enrollment) in high school (other than from DSC), make sure to bring a copy of your transcript to the A&R session and have an official transcript sent to DSC. The hold on your account will not be removed until you have completed A&R.

A&R Registration

All new students are held to the same registration process with no one eligible to register until completing A&R. Session dates will begin on June 13th which is the first opportunity to register for classes regardless of the circumstance. All sessions are degree specific and are held on Mondays and Tuesdays with limited spots available for each date.

Where to Meet and at What Time

Check-in will begin at 8:30 am in the Eccles Fine Arts Building (corner of 100 S. and 700 E.). Feel free to park in the lot adjacent to the Eccles building. The session will officially begin at 9 am.

We will be moving throughout campus during the session in order to help students familiarize themselves with campus. The session will conclude with students registering for their fall semesters courses and leaving campus with a full schedule for fall semester. The session will end before 3 pm.

Parents are invited to attend.

Lunch will be provided.
