Welcome to Dixie State College!  This summer you will have the opportunity to meet new friends, register for fall semester, and become oriented to Dixie State College.

Dixie State’s summer Orientation and Registration (O&R) program is designed to help first time freshmen get started right. During your O&R session, you will learn about degrees, general education requirements, special areas of study or majors, transfer credit and how to register for classes.

You will also have the opportunity to take care of a few things early such as obtaining your student ID card, activating your Dixie email account, buying parking stickers and paying for classes. You will avoid hours of time standing in lines during the first week of classes!

Please review the session calendar and identify which date will be the best for you to attend. Although all students are welcome to attend any O&R session, we recommend that you try to attend a session where your major interest will be represented.

After you’ve chosen your session, go to the O&R Session Sign-Up Form to sign up. The earlier you sign up, the better the course selection!

If you live further than 450 miles away (one way), or find it challenging to make the trip to St. George, please e-mail Kammi Rencher at krencher@dixie.edu for alternatives.
