| 05/21/2012 - The Sears Art Museum Gallery at the Dixie State College of Utah Dolores Dore' Eccles Fine Arts Center unveils a new summer ensemble exhibit entitled "There are Always Stories to Tell," featuring the works of four talented Utah artists. The exhibit, which is free to the public, will officially open on Friday, June 8, and will run Monday-through-Friday through August 24, 2012, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. |
| Dixie State College Given Regent Approval for New Four-Year Degree in Art |
| 05/21/2012 - Dixie State College of Utah received Utah State Board of Regents approval to offer a new four-year bachelor's degree program in art at the USBR meeting held this past Friday at Snow College in Ephraim. The addition of the new baccalaureate degree continues the College's progression toward fulfilling its mission to offer core, foundational and high demand educational opportunities consistent with four-year colleges, and to meet the demands of business and industry, including those in Utah's public education institutions. Class work for the new art degree program will begin this fall. |
| Dixie State College Announces New Board of Trustees Member and Leadership |
| 05/03/2012 - Dixie State College of Utah announced Thursday the appointment of former Utah State Representative and Speaker of the House David Clark as a new member of the institution's Board of Trustees. Clark was appointed by Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert to replace Ms. Kathie Thayne, who resigned from the Board earlier this year. |
