| 07/13/2010 - Representatives of State Bank of Southern Utah visited the Dixie State College campus Monday and presented College administrators a generous scholarship gift to benefit DSC students for this upcoming academic year. SBSU executive vice president Kim Christensen and assistant vice president Jimi Kestin presented a check to DSC Vice President of Advancement Christina Schultz Monday morning. |
| "Return to Little Hollywood" to be Screened at Saint George Public Library |
| 07/06/2010 - "Return to Little Hollywood," a documentary about the film industry's history in southern Utah written and directed by Dixie State College of Utah English professor Dr. Stephen Armstrong, will be screened at Saint George Public Library on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 7PM. Co-sponsored by DSC and Kane County’s Center for Education, Business, and the Arts (CEBA), the 38-minute film has been used to promote the city of Kanab, Utah and surrounding Kane County to production companies and other potential investors from the entertainment industry. |
