Policy: GIVING CLUBS

7-28 GIVING CLUBS

28.1 PURPOSE

To outline and define policy regarding giving clubs for Dixie State College.

28.2 POLICY

28.2.1 Giving clubs are a means of encouraging increasingly larger contributions from donors and of recognizing their contributions to Dixie State College. Recognition is granted in accordance with the following categories:

28.2.1.1 Dixie Benefactors

When contributions or bequests total $1 million or more donors become lifetime members of the President's Associates Club, and are invited annually to the Recognition Banquet. Consideration is given for the naming of a physical facility for the donor, subject to policy 9-26.

28.2.1.2 Dixie Associates

When contributions totaling $100,000 or more are made during the donor's lifetime, or a declaration of intent to contribute $250,000 or more through bequests or other deferred gift plans, the donor becomes a lifetime member of the President's Associates Club and is invited annually to the Recognition Banquet.

28.2.1.3 Dixie Heritage Club

When contributions total $25,000 in one year donors are invited to the President's Recognition Banquet for a period of 5 years.
