7-24 PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS
To outline the policy and procedures regarding payroll deductions.
24.2.1 Dixie State College encourages the participation of its faculty and staff in helping to support the programs of the college through financial contributions. To assist in the establishment and maintenance of programs of regular giving, the college makes provisions for payroll deductions of employee contributions.
24.2.2 Donations by payroll deduction shall be credited as unrestricted gifts unless donors inform the Institutional Advancement Office regarding specific restrictions.
24.2.3 Staff from the Institutional Advancement Office will visit each department and provide forms and information about payroll deduction contributions.
24.2.4 Payroll deductions must be authorized, in writing, by the employee on the appropriate form and approved by the payroll department.
