POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

 

REGISTRAR

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        Provide leadership to plan, organize and manage all of the activities related to the Records and Registration Department, including serving as the official authorized keeper of the College's student records.

·        Develop recommendations of related technology application in support of registration and records functions. 

·        Collaborate with administrators, deans, faculty, IT and staff to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.

·        Ensure that campus is in compliance with FERPA and other related regulations.

·        Organize and administer the records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations, and act as NCAA II compliance officer.

·        In cooperation with the advisement office, supervise the coordination, evaluation and certification of all graduation applications.

·        Hire, supervise, and evaluate records and registration staff.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) and three years related experience required.

·        Demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver Records and Registration services.

·        Ability to interpret policies and regulations and to apply them consistently and fairly, especially in complex situations.

·        Excellent supervisory skills and experience.

·        Excellent organization and analytical skills.

·        Experience with retrieving data and writing reports from databases.

·        Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

·        Ability to exercise critical human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, the college community, and the public.

 

Terms of Contract:  Full time professional staff position.  Beginning salary range $46,000 to $50,000, dependent upon qualifications and experience.  Excellent benefits.
