POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: MEDICAL RADIOGRAPHY CLINICAL COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:

Coordinate, plan, review and evaluate all facets of clinical education
·
Conduct clinical and laboratory instruction as well as formal didactic
instruction
·
Responsible for assessing student progress in both clinical and
classroom setting
·
Work with other medical faculty in the continuing development and
management of the existing program, including scheduling, budgeting, equipment
and other areas as needed.
·
Assist in coordinating with local medical facility personnel in a
partnership to ensure that the radiography program meets the needs of Dixie
students and of local and regional education.
·
Perform campus duties including holding office hours, advising students,
attending faculty and other meetings, serving on College and department
committees, and in other leadership roles.
·
Consult with program director, department chair and dean in creating and
delivering curriculum and other duties as assigned. Adhere to College policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
·
Baccalaureate degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
·
Documented two or more full-time years experience in radiography.
·
Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction,
evaluation and counseling preferred.
·
Candidate must hold ARRT certification
·
Document a minimum of one year experience as an instructor in a JRCERT
accredited program.
·
Demonstrated ability in successful teaching (finalists will be required
to demonstrate competence by teaching a mini lesson)
·
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills,
including the ability to work well with faculty, staff and students both orally
and in writing.
Terms of Contract: Tenure track faculty position. Salary is based on nationally competitive Dixie State College faculty salary schedule. Excellent benefit package included.
