I have been a nurse and nurse educator for a long time. My mantra as an educator is: Students are the center of my universe. Most of my work is administrative as dean of the school of nursing and allied health, and director of the nursing programs, but I do get to teach in the BSN program which provides me with great joy. Outside of work you will find me quilting, knitting, reading, and spending time with my family including the loves of my life, Molly and MacDougall, my golden retrievers.

I love teaching nursing and have for almost 16 years. I also love being a nurse. I work part time at Intermountain Healthcare’s WorkMed as a nurse practitioner. The rest of my time is spent finishing my doctorate in nursing practice. I plan to finish this degree in May of 2010. I have a wonderful husband and 2 new puppies that give me great pleasure. We have the best nursing school in the state.
