Beautiful Zion National Park is only 45 minutes from campus! Or see Grand Canyon National Park, just two hours away. Arches and Canyonlands are also nearby.
Winter Sports
Brian Head is only 75 minutes from Campus while Eagle Point (formerly Elk Meadows) is a little over 2 hours away. Both are excellent ski resorts!
Rafting
Big Rock Candy Mountain is only 2 hours from campus. Outdoor Recreation often sponsors rafting trips in which you can participate with fellow students.
Water Sports
With three local reservoirs in St. George, water recreation is only 15 minutes from campus! Or you could head out to Lake Powell, only two hours away!
Golfing
St. George has over 10 golf courses, all minutes from campus! Remember, in St. George you can golf during spring, summer, and fall semesters.
Climbing
Only minutes from campus you'll find climbing, hiking, rappelling, mountain biking, and more! Outdoor Rec also sponsors events like these you can join.
