The Red Storm Retreat is always held on a weekend (Friday and/or Saturday).

College Life Experience (Overnight for students only)

Friday through Saturday morning is called our College Life Experience, is a student only activity, and includes student activities, food, treats, and a huge activity center for students only! If you have something planned on a Friday night, you can always join us for the Dixie State College Academic Experience on Saturday. The cost of the overnight experience is $25 and includes a place for the student to sleep, meals, treats, activities, a t-shirt, and the Academic Experience. THIS EVENT IS CHAPERONED BY STAFF AND SECURITY.

Academic Experience (Saturday only for PARENTS and students)

Saturday will be filled with information dealing with scholarship and financial aid, housing, admissions, majors and programs, student life and activities, job placement, and other student services available to you as a student at Dixie State. We'll even have a current student panel to answer your questions and a parent breakout session. To wrap it up, we'll feed you in our Red Rock Café and take you on a personalized campus tour. The Academic Experience costs $10 and includes meals, snacks, and a t-shirt. This cost is covered by the $25 if a student participates in the College Life Experience.

Where to check-in

College Life Experience (Friday & Saturday)

We will be meeting in the Gardner Center Ballroom (map) on Friday night between 5-6pm for the College Life Experience. Call of you can't find us. (435)652-7590

Academic Experience (Saturday)

We will be meeting in the Hazy Business Building (map) on Saturday morning between 8-9am for the Academic Experience. Call if you can't find us. (435) 313-7825

What to bring for the OVERNIGHT College Life Experience

• Bedding (pillow and sleeping bag)
• Change of Clothes
• Hygiene Products (don't forget the toothpaste)
• Signed Red Storm Retreat Liability Wavier (not required if you and your guardian have already filled out and signed the online form)
• High School Transcripts for the Admissions Application (optional)

Cost

College Life Experience (Overnight students only) $25.00 . Food, fun, and lodging will be provided.

Academic Experience (Parents and students) $10. Food and a t-shirt* with be provided.

*Register two weeks prior to reserve a t-shirt.
