Maintianing Eligibility Each Scholarship at Dixie State College has specific GPA and credit hour requirements students must meet in order to keep their scholarship the following semester. These requirements will be listed under the description of each scholarship. Although many scholarships have higher requirements, a student must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and take 12 or more credit hours per semester in order to keep any scholarship at Dixie State College. If at any time the students GPA falls below the requirement (semester or cumulative), or if less than 12 credits are taken, the scholarship will be canceled. A student may appeal to the Scholarship Office if unusual circumstances occurred which caused them to fall below 12 credits. Although some scholarships require 15 credit hours, these scholarships will not be canceled unless the student falls below 12 credits. Please note that for these scholarships the student must complete 30 credit hours by the end of their freshman year in order to receive a scholarship for the following year.
