Background
Brad Barry grew up in San Mateo, California. He began teaching at Dixie State College in 1998. In addition to teaching for the English Department, he also currently serves as its Director of the Composition Program.
Education
He earned his B.A. (in English) and his M.A. (in the Teaching of Writing) from Humboldt State University, in Arcata, CA. He then earned his Ph.D. in English from Bowling Green State University (in Bowling Green, OH).
Interests
Dr. Barry’s dissertation title was Writer Motivation, Rhetorical Purpose, and Classroom Web Publication Projects. He has presented papers at the following conferences:
