Education and Interests
Florence Elizabeth Bacabac earned her Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Her dissertation reflects her interest in composition pedagogy, more specifically the effective utilization of various collaborative invention tools in computer-mediated classrooms. Her research interests include computers and writing, writing for interactive media, second language writing, and feminist rhetoric. Florence has done conference paper- and workshop- presentations at various professional conferences, such as the NCTE, CCCC, Computers and Writing, Watson, L2 Writing Symposium, Ohio TESOL, and Feminism(s) and Rhetoric(s).
