One of Canada's most prominent virtuoso violinists, Angele Dubeau has performed on the world's greatest stages in a spectacular career that has spanned thirty years and over thirty countries. Her path as a musician is an exceptional one. She obtained first prize from the Montreal Conservatory of Music at age 15. Dubeau strives to make classical music more accessible to the masses. From 1994 to 1997 she shared her music with larger audiences when she hosted and cowrote Faites vos gammes (Do your scales), a French CBC television program dedicated to showcasing young Québécois classical music talent. Starting in 1995 Dubeau was the artistic director of the annual Music in the Mountains at Tremblant, Que. In 2001 she returned to French CBC television and hosted the weekly show Angèle Dubeau: La fĂȘte de la musique.

La Pietà: During 1997 Angèèle Dubeau founded La Pietà, a 12-woman ensemble made up of 11 stringed instruments and piano. Dubeau named La Pietà after Venice's Ospedale della Pietà, the 18th-century orphanage where Vivaldi conducted his women's orchestra. La Pietà, like its predecessor, helps a variety of charitable causes. By 2004, Dubeau and La Pietà had performed over 80 concerts in North America, China and Japan.
