The Center for Media Innovation (CMI) provides further hands-on opportunities to mass communication and digital film majors.  The award-winning CMI offers the following professional opportunities for students: 

• The Dixie Sun, a student print and online newspaper
• S.U.N. News, real-time online television news
• Classical 91.3 and The Storm, radio stations with student announcers and programmers
• DSC TV, a campus television network
• Production methods in Web-based content and smart phone applications
• TV and digital motion pictures
• DOCUTAH, an annual documentary film festival

Students graduating in the Mass Communication and Film Production emphases graduate with both a bachelor's degree and a resume.
