Because Dixie State students have different educational and vocational goals, we offer a wide range of opportunities for study. Our students can choose from the following educational paths:
|
Baccalaureate (Bachelor) Degrees |
Four-year degrees which prepare students for a broad range of careers or for graduate study |
|
Associate of Arts and Science Degrees
(Note: An Associate of Arts or Science is generally only recognized as completion of general education course work within the state in which it is earned.) |
Two-year degrees which prepare students for baccalaureate study by allowing them to complete general education courses while also taking courses that will prepare them for their majors |
|
Applied Science Degrees |
Two-year terminal degrees which allow students to focus their studies on developing professional and vocational skills |
|
Certificates |
Condensed courses of study (usually one year or less) which are designed to help students to develop specific work skills |
